Manufacturers that wish to develop innovative products using micro and nanotechnologies can sign partnership agreements with MINATEC to work with the center’s researchers on specific issues.

These partnerships generally include:
- Identifying the most appropriate MINATEC laboratory for the project in question, and possibly setting up a joint project team
- Management of the development project, via a multi-year contract, up to the phase (demo, prototyping, zero series) determined by the industrial partner
- Use of turnkey facilities and equipment at the High Tech Building, including clean rooms, laboratories, office space, all scaled to the size of the project
MINATEC Entreprises, also located in the High Tech Building, ensures the supply and maintenance of technical fluids, ventilation, heating, gas, and any special supplies required by the project. These services free the project team to focus entirely on their research and development work.
One of the major success factors of these projects is the close cooperation between researchers and professionals from industry. Projects can be kept completely confidential, in which case the company’s activities at the High Tech Building are not disclosed to the public.
